Panasonic region free dvd player. Model s700.

Panasonic region free dvd player model s700. Lightly used, purchased new. while player is functional, some of my region 1 disc would not play as player would display a "disc is not formated to play in your region" so what ever region free modification was done to this model is not 100%. my small Region 2 collection played just fine. May be a issue with certain studios haven't used to extensively enough to say for sure.
A good backup player if you need an extra for some import discs but be warned some discs(in my case certain domestic R1 releases) may not be playable.
